Yes, definitely. Hunger was so so brutal, terrifying and explicit, it was really hard for me to watch some scenes, especially the first act, and I must say I’m not really a fan of that kind of movies, they’re too brutal for me. But it’s one of the most intense movies, and Michael’s  performance was simply brilliant. So I really recommend to watch at least the 17min conversation with the priest, which is the best part of the film.
